Does anyone have suggestions as to where I can get a nice looking headbands that arent too expensive? All the frum stores in BP and Flatbush sell headbands for like $30 each!

Go to Claire's and H&M. They sell the same things that frum stores sell for a fraction of the price.

I was just going to say what you said Hannah! Although you do not have to be a good seamstress - you just have to sew a line - it's so easy - or even fabric glue it down. Go to store and examine the puzzle so to speak and then go to JoAnn fabrics or something they have scraps - little pieces left from bigger bolts that are very cheap

I recently bought some from a street vendor in Manhattan. He had some really nice ones for under $5. You see them with their stuff on tables all over midtown.

I've bought 2 in Target for 5.99 each. They are very in now so a lot of non-Jewish stores sell them.

At ardene I get 4 for $10.
At claires they usually have buy 1 get 1 free.

I make my own.
I bought 17 diff. types of patterns at the fabric store. it cost me $13 for all the fabric.
I took it to my seamstress who charge me $25 for all the headbands.
so for $38 I got $17 headbands.
the frum stores charge so much cuz they know its a staple for anyone with a band fall.

www.coveryourhair.com is wonderful! They have free shipping and a gorgeous selection of headbands, some are only $11, which isn't too bad as far as frum shops go.
