I am going to mix things up a bit for Friday night meal.
1st course Im going to serve a small salad with grilled chichen strips and ceasar dressing.
Then for the main course Im going to serve a variety of things to choose from
Hot Salmon croquettes with mushroom gravy
Teryaki Tourbot
Mashed Potatoes
Grilled Veggies (yellow and green zuccini and carrots)
Corn on the cob
Hope it goes over well

I googled it, and it looks like turbot is a flatfish, in the same family as fluke and flounder.
JOOC... why are you doing fish as your main meal after the Nine Days??

We only use Lubavitch shchita meat and nobody carries it where I live. I stock up when I go into brooklyn on shopping trips but my freezer is near empty, my father in law ran all over brooklyn to find some lubavitch chicken shnitzel. Not so easy..

Hmm... Never heard of serving meat b4 fish, gotta rinse out those mouths pretty darn well  !!!
Main course sounds delicious, yum!

I'm only serving the meat first bc it is so little (just to be yotzi) I think after the fish course im making nobody will eat the chicken salad.
