2 cups flour
2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp nutmeg
1/4 cup pareve milk
1/4 cup water

mix in to make dough & chill
drop by rounded spoonfuls (dip spoon in oil so batter doesn't stick between puffs) into hot oil & fry about 3 minutes

Doughnuts – 1

3 ½ cups flour
1 cup sugar
3 teaspoons baking powder
½ teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon cinnamon
¼ teaspoon nutmeg
2 teaspoons margarine
2 eggs
¾ cup soya milk
Oil for frying

Mix all ingredients except a little more than ½ cups flour. Mix on low
speed for a minute, then on medium speed for 2 minutes; scraping bowl
occasionally. Stir in remaining flour and mix together.
Roll on well-floured surface. Make sure dough is also slightly floured
on all sides. Dough should be rolled to about 1cm thick. Cut with
floured cutter.
With a spatula, slide doughnut into 3"-4" inches of heated oil,
approximately 2-3 minutes on each side. Doughnuts should rise to the
surface before being turned over. Remove gently from the oil. Don't
prick with fork. Top with confectioner's sugar or frosting.
