Any ideas on what to do with a family ranging from 18 months to 16?
We're stumped. Should have done our homework better, but didn't.
Any and all help is appreciated.

Where in Israel are you based? What are your means of transportation?
There is an outdoor concert thingie tonight in Beit Shemesh, you can even take the train for Yerushalayim for an added activity.
They have music and things at Kikar Safra which is at the beginning of Yafo near the old city.
There is a sukkah at Kenyon Malcha (the Malcha/Jerusalem mall).
I think even the zoo puts up sukkas so you could do a day trip there.
There are museums, science museum in Yerushalayim is fun for kids. Not sure what of the Israel museum is open, but sometimes they have exhibits outside that are neat.
