I'm trying to get hold of the recipe from this cookbook- the chocolate chip bars....... anyone able to post it?

thanks in advance.

(I want to bake them to take to my 6 week apt. for all the doctors and nurses at my OBGYN office)

chocolate chip sticks

veg cooking spray
1/2 c. veg or canola oil
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. packed brown sugar
1 large egg beaten
1 tsp vanilla
1 1/2 c. flour
1/2 tsp baking soda &salt
1/2 c. choclate morsels

pe heat oven to 350
oil, sugars mix in bowl stir in eggs and vanilla

flour and baking soda in bowl mix w/ fork then add in egg mixture

form dough into 3-4 inch wide logs and place on baking sheet

bake 4 20-30 ims check after 20 mins to see if ends are brown

tovah, thanks so much for posting the recipe for me!

I wrapped a pink ribbon around each bar, and then put them in a basket wrapped in celophane with a note-

"thanks for taking care of my mommy until I arrived"

You are so sweet. I have never thought of anything like that. The most I did was send a letter to the student midwife who helped me during labor.
