Are the any starter homes in nj.... for around 300k .... if yes in which area... can be like a 20 minute walk from shul

I highly doubt you'll find anything livable for under 400k in NJ.

When you say New Jersey do you mean anywhere in NJ? There are communities near yeshivas. Not close to schools tho. Where do you live now ? Are your kids currently in schools and you’re looking to live near their current schools ? Or you’re willing to buy truly anywhere that’s near a shul ?

Maybe linden or edges of Elizabeth- but double check it's a safe area.. maybe also look at cherry hill and philly?

I thought you meant a single family house.
If you are okay with a condo type house you'll have options.

I was gonna say these areas, but I think Elizabeth is considered expensive . Cherry hill and linden are good options.
