We are in a financial crunch. I am trying to figure out what snacks are the cheapest but still kid- friendly. So I can't just send carrots... I have kids with ND so can't avoid snacks.
I don't mind putting it into my own ziplock bags.
I don't live in NY/NJ so local stores won't help. So amazon, target, Walmart are great.
No dairy microwave to pop own popcorn and don't have time to do on stove. I work full full time...
We don't keep CY or PY.
Please help.

I find that buying big bags in Walmart and repackaging them myself comes out cheapest.

They sell popcorn microwave bowls on amazon and can just put kernels in, salt, and oil no need for butter
Do u have a costco near you they have lots of snacks for reasonable prices.

My walmart didn't have a huge snack selection? Besides non kosher options like doritos. Which snacks do you get?

There’s a way to make popcorn using kernels in the microwave- you just have to get the holder and then you can do it pareve.
I find generic pretzels and chips cheapest. Also nature valley bars from Costco are on the cheaper side- they go on great sales in other stores also if you catch it right.

You don't need a special bowl for microwave popcorn. Pour some kernels into a paper lunch bag, fold over the top a few times, and microwave it. When you're done, pour into a bag and add oil, salt and flavorings.

You can use a paper bag, but then you have to keep buying paper bags.
I have this popcorn bowl and my kids love it. You pour in popcorn seeds until the measured line on the bottom (not a lot- keep to the measurements). Add just a touch of oil and some salt/seasoning. Cover and microwave, 2 ½ to 3 minutes. You'll know the popcorn is finished cooking when there's about a two-second gap between pops. (Usually takes 2:40 in my microwave.)
https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d.....s_tlI saw that some colors like black are cheaper.
And this one is even cheaper.

Woah!!! Thank you!! Will try to make a pickup order soon!! No Walmart + in my area (a family member offered to make us an order but my address/zip code is unavailable).
Will try a few things at a time and see what my kids will actually eat.

I agree. My kids pour themselves so much on their own, I prefer to buy prepackaged when I can.
A lot of the Great Value stuff is kosher. I buy graham crackers, wafers, fruit cups, apple sauce pouches, veggie straws. I don’t eat cholov stam, but there are even more options if you do.
