Does this exist? I have two shirts 100% tznuis. Just I have to wear something under it as the sides are split a good few inches. I do t want to wear a full shell or even a sleeveless one. Is there such a thing as a shell just to cover chest down. Or waist coverage ?

Sounds like you're looking for the bottom half of a shell- the part at the waist.
It needs something to hold it up. Best you can do is a tank top. This is modal material.

Yes. Because crop tops are usually cropped by the belly.

A crop top is the opposite of what OP is looking for. OP needs coverage from chest down, a crop top covers just till after the chest.
