Can you make homemade pickles in fridge ?
And can you use something besides glass jar?

You can use a plastic container, but glass is better. Plastic absorbs odors and if you use a container that was used before for something else, it may affect the taste of your pickles. (Not necessarily in a bad way, but you never know). Pickles are kept at room temperature until they reach the desired level of doneness, after which they are refrigerated to keep them from getting more done. If, for example, you like them half-sour, you keep them at room temp till they're half sour, then refrigerate. If you like them fully sour, you can keep them at room temp for as long as you like. The pickling is what preserves them, after all.
