This Minhag comes from Christians look it up on Google. They make shlissel bread for Avoda Zara.
Sadly this minhig came when Jews lived in Christians neighborhoods.
Bracha comes when we follow Hashem and His Torah, not from made up Christian deeds and dough.

Moishe's usually has frozen raw challah in the freezer from Kineret, but not sure if they have it the first week after pesach. Worth a try. You can see that they have it online.
