This was me a few years ago.

Had serious emergency surgery (to the point that they had no time for signing consent forms) and they couldn't wake me up.

They didn't have much hope. But I'm proof that tefillos work.

Am davening for moshe ben Miriam.

Wow such an inspiration!
This boy had major surgery on his brain so it's a bit different.
For how long were you asleep?

Ok so yes it was a little different. I was only asleep for a few hours, but it was a procedure that is usually done under local anaesthetic, but I was bleeding out so they had to put me to sleep to preserve energy and give massive transfusions, which bled straight out.

They didn't think I would make it and called my family.... I had a large family of kids of all ages, guess H-shem heard all the Tehillim from all around the world and gave me a 2nd chance.

I woke up, not knowing up what was going on, I went in for a minor procedure and woke up to my parents scared faces (or terrified more like) and they don't live near me and weren't planning on being in my city that day, tubes, wires, IV poles, oxygen masks and beeping machines...my 1st question was 'did I die?'

Their looks said it all. I remember wondering why dh was crying into the phone, at that point I had no idea of the drama of the past few hours...

I hadn't remembered anything as I was slipping into a coma when they put me to sleep.
