It’s more of a trendy style, not a classic. In my opinion if gifting someone something it should be classic unless they indicated they want something trendy.

me, my 3 SILs who are in their 40s and my young married cousin all have Michelle watches...
the ones we have are around 2k.....
don't think girls are getting that for their bas mitzva

I’m in my low 20s and I have Movado but I didn’t want the identical Michelle that everyone else has.. if you don’t specifically what she wants and aren’t planning on asking her Michelle is the safest bet imo

I also recommend buying a watch from a watch brand: Tissot, Longines etc.
