If you go to your parents or in laws and it’s a break for you-I’m jealous. Enjoy it.
If you go to your parents or in laws and hate it but it feels like the better of two evils-I’m with you.
If you make pesach, I regret that I didn’t do that this year.
I’m traveling out of state with the kids, keeping up with work, taking care of the kids and helping with all the cooking/cleaning over pesach. My parents and in laws don’t actually help, we end up doing everything for them.
If I were to make pesach that would also be incredibly stressful.
I really wish it wasn’t almost pesach. I just want to stay in my bed and hide from the holiday season!

Same here. Not necessarily because of the work involved. I find the schedule (or lack thereof) is what kills it for me. I wish I can change this about myself. Some women look like they are having so much fun with the cooking and table setting, or are connecting with yt on a higher level. I just can't.

You do all the cooking at your parents/ in laws? Are they elderly?

I would plan on being home next year.

I am absolutely working to the bone and loving it. I make my own Pesach more or less. BH we just got a tax refund so money is not as tight. Kids are all off and I can see them and bond with them. The food is all very fresh and pretty healthy too. Yes there is a lot of cleaning, shopping and cooking. Yes there is a lot of unstructured time for the kids. But this is when the memories are made.

Counting the hours until everyone is back in school. We moved to a new area a year ago. I am bored out of my mind. Tried making friends no one reciprocated. Some family is coming second days they are neat freaks I have so much more pressure to clean all day. Bh most of the cooking and cleaning is done. Didn’t turn over yet sitting here and klutzing. I think I am depressed.
