My FIL is a Shochet and we get from him. He also milks goats. But we just buy regular milk since I’m not touching goat milk.

The stores that claim they sell live salmon are actually misleading you, the fish they market as 'live salmon' is another fish called salmon trout, it looks similar to salmon but is way way fishier tasting and honestly a waste of money. After buying it one year, we regretted it and just stay with our carp & gefilte.
As the previous poster said, there is no way to get actual live salmon.
