You check it at the gate as you are getting on the plane. And pick up as you deplane for the walk through the airport

Airlines are notorious for breaking strollers and wheelchairs. Rather borrow, rent, or purchase a stroller that is allowed on the plane. There are numerous models like the yoyo, uppa minu, bugaboo butterfly, pockit and probably more.
Also, don’t take my word for it, but check the airline to ensure they truly do allow that stroller you plan on taking.
