whenever I get a mani, I tend to bring my nails close to my eye to see how perfect or imperfect it is. and of course it never is. especially after a day or two when the cuticles start growing back.
I'm trying to tell myself that as long as it looks good when my hands are down I should not overthink it but I cant help myself.
do you look at your nails from really up close or farther away is good enough for you?

Lol I used to do this before I found my current nail tech. The ones I've used b4 didn't do a great job and studying my nails just made me annoyed I spent all that money....
Now that I found a really good nail tech, I don't study them at all. I look at them from afar and get happiness every time I look at them. Maybe change techs and see if you can find one youre happy with?

it's not her, it's me. usually im happy when I leave but a day or two later I see all the natural imperfections that come with time. BH nails and cuticles grow but they change the look of the mani.
when I look from far it makes me happy but up close....
