I put on some weight and am also bh 10 weeks pregnant. Right now it's still cold enough that I can get away with wearing sweaters but likely Pesach will be a bit warmer already and I have literally nothing I can wear.

And then after Pesach I'll need work clothes as well.

It feels silly to invest in an in between wardrobe now when I'll be ready to switch to maternity likely in 6 or so weeks.

Trying to figure out what makes sense.

If anyone can help with ideas of what styles might work and possibly carry over for maternity, I would appreciate it! I am 5 ft tall and between sizes L and XL.

Thank you.

Dresses. Linear has dresses now that are perfect for this. It’ll b good for nursing too bc they’re zipper - Shabbos and weekday. Target also has few tznius dresses now - they’re weekday only.

Wear do you live? If you’re in Lakewood I can help you with a few stores that would probably have good options.
You can look at Kohl’s petite tops- xl and pair with a comfortable black skirt.

Thanks! I took a look at Linear but don't think the styles would work well for me.

Target actually has some super nice options though! Thanks for the tip.

Yes I am in Lakewood. I tried going to Junees but wasn't successful. Where do you suggest?

I would suggest Brooklyn southwest. I’m the same height as you and around a size large and found some nice tops. I think I even saw a rack that said maternity. Maybe you can buy a small or medium maternity top. Ask for help. The salespeople are really good and you will probably walk out with something.

That actually looks super nice! Do you think I could use it for Shabbos?
