I empty out the Chametz pantry, some goes into a cardboard box, some goes into other cupboards, then clean it out and put my Pesach stuff in there.

Boxes stacked neatly in a corner near the couch. As high as needed. No bags, just neat boxes.

I clean my room first and put all the pesach stuff in there. It’s also my Pesach storage space over Pesach, I don’t put everything (pantry goods/pots/paper goods) in my kitchen since I’m short on space.

Large stacks of boxes in my bedroom. It’s the only place I can guarantee the kids won’t wander in with chometz

My bedroom doesn't have an extra inch! My groceries are in boxes in the corner of the dining room. I hate it, but there is no good space.

My kitchen cabinets had a few feet of space between the tops and the ceiling, all Pesach groceries would go there until I turned over

Non food goes under a bunkbed that doesn't have storage right now.
Some food goes in trunk of car.
Some on top bunkbed where no one sleeps.
Hopefully will clean out pantry cabinet tonight to start putting things away...
And will keep things in boxes sealed anywhere they will fit. Dust is not chometz. Maybe will put plastic tablecloth under and over if need be.

BH I DONT have a small apartment, but I don’t do any shopping until my kitchen is turned over. Pesach is 2+ weeks away, I’m not doing any shopping yet.

I used to deal with this same issue. The past couple of years I have changed To do the shopping after I turn over. It’s less back and forth that way , ends up less shlepping. I used to worry that the grocery stores would run out of food , I don’t know why I thought that. If there is a specific specialized item I’m worried about , ill buy that in advance but all the standard stuff I realized there’s no reason to make myself crazy.

I'm actually going to clear out our small pantry cabinet today to make it pesachdik. Chometz items going into a box to use up. So going to transfer some of out pesach grocery items into there, and close the cabinet with a rubber band.
I also have this small shelf that folds flat that I can open up on pesach to store extra items since I don't transfer many of our kitchen cabinets for pesach use.
