I came across this thread as I am in desperate need of help regarding a serious mental condition.
Who is Avi Mendlowitz? What is his position? Is he a general asken?
Is he helpful in referring one to a reliable psychiatrist?

Not sure but definitely worth a try. I think he’s the head of hatzola department which deals with mental health crises.

He tries to be available in emergency mental health situations. I reached out to him to see if my son should go inpatient. Relief is a good resource for finding a therapist.
