Planning a vacation to Punta Cana. If you've been there, did you rent a car? If not how did you get around? Did you go to any other islands? With a Tour or without? Did you go to the cinote? With a tour or without? Did you feel safe when not on the resort? Thanks

I stayed on the resort the whole time but the island are supposed to be really nice

I think people mostly stay on the resorts for safety.

I stayed on the resort Punta Palmera the entire time I didnt rent a car but one day I rented a golf cart and drove to a different beach
We also drove the golf cart to the grocery at night
It was a super relaxing and gorgeous vacation!

I was in Punta Cana many years ago. It’s beautiful!! Very unsafe to travel outside your resort.

EDEN ROC has kosher food. We stayed there
