I've never made tomato dip before but I have a big container of grape tomatoes that I want to use up.
What do I need to add to make it taste similar to the ones I buy at the grocery/takeout?
Disclaimer: I don't like any kind of tomato dip at all. I am trying to make something that my family members would eat though.

3 egg tomatoes (super ripe)
1/2 c oil
1 tsp salt
1/4 tsp black pepper
1 and half or 1 large piece crushed garlic (I use 1.5 of the frozen cubes)
So eyeball approximately how.much 3 egg tomatoes would be.
