Okay, she's adorable.... and very physical.
She'll bite, scratch, hit and pinch us for no apparent reason. Sometimes I think she even does it lovingly. Sounds weird.
How do we stop this behavior? We've told her not to do it. We correct her and put her in a high chair as a "time out" but nothing is working!

I have a similar issue. My toddler bites and hits and then laughs and thinks it funny. Hope you get some advice on here!

Maybe she's sensory? Give her playdough, sand, paint, anything she can feel and play, it might be sensory seeking.

my just turned 2 year old loves to smack me in my face. he thinks it's fun but it really hurts. he's not doing it maliciously.
I wish I knew how to stop it.

How else would I know if she's seeking sensory? She likes playdough but not crazy about it.
She's definitely always loved cuddling and being physically close to her parents. Seems like this is an extension of that possibly. She does it alllll the time. When changing her diaper, cuddling in bed, holding hands, also when she's mad at us. Whenever she feels like it. Cracks up as well or does it in anger/frustration.
so sometimes to hurt but not always.

I’d have her evaluated. Sometimes it’s an early sign of other issues.

What could it be?
She just turned two. She does great socially. She doesn't seem to do this to anyone besides for us, her parents.
She was walking before her first birthday. Was always physically advanced.
Her speech development is normal.

Sounds like it. Give her toys for sensory playing, every child is different and this could help her!

Would love to know more. What kind of toys do you suggest?
