How do I make overnight kugel, not in a 9 x 13?
Will it work in a smaller pan?
Should I make a 9 x 13 kugel and just put half of it wrapped in my cholent?
Thanks

I make in a round pan or square pan every week. Works fine

I do a recipe that fits a 9x13 and use 2 half 9x13 size pans
And I freeze one for the next week (after baking before overnighting)

You can make any size that you want. Once it's done baking, poke holes through with a fork and pour water on top. Bake it on 200-250 for a couple of hours. You can also freeze your extra kugel and pour water over it straight from the freezer. I do it all the time.
