Iām experimenting this week. I freeze cooked potato kugel all the time. What are the cooking directions for a raw potato kugel? Defrost or bake frozen? Covered or uncovered? What temperature? Thanks š

I do it all them time, put in frozen kugel in oven uncovered and put on 400 degrees farenheit, after about 1-1+1/2hrs I move it down to 350, comes out yum! good luck

Raw? Doesn't that turn an awful color?

For best results bake your potato kugel before you freeze it.
Take baked potato kugel out of freezer and put directly into hot (425 - 450) oven, covered. You can pour half cup of water on top then recover and bake for an hour. Uncover and bake another 20 minutes.
Raw potato kugel also needs to go from freezer directly into a very hot oven but might not yield great results in taste, texture or color.

I also do it all the time. Just bake on 350-400 straight from the freezer. Delicious tastes fresh!
