Hi,
Any strong leads for how best to find remote computer programming jobs.
From what understand, the market in Israel is weak right now and hard for an oleh to really break in.
Asking for a family member....have heard from people anecdotally that many US companies hire remote but wondering which ones.
Are there specific jewish companies to look into?
Any helpful info that could share would be helpful.

Doesnt need to be remote - just know looking in that direction since was finding in person was weak options. Happy to share/forward any recommendations. THANKS!

Where does she live? Is she on on all the job groups and boards? Is she willing to travel?

Any specific job boards that could recommend?
To be honest- I dont know exactly what has/has not looked into and I dont know the programming world in particular. Im just looking to try to help by gathering some information or recommendations that could share which maybe not the most productive thing to do and sometimes individuals have personal things that hold them back in different ways.

Also what's her schooling/experience. If she did a a frum course that doesn't carry much weight.
There's tons of WhatsApp groups, Facebook groups, nbn janglo, secret tel Aviv, secret jerusalem has jobs, glass door, LinkedIn etc.

Contact gavahim. They help people move into high tech here and assign mentors. They’re on linked in and online. My dh has a few friends that we’re helped by this org.
