(This includes Hebrew words that have become yiddish, like mamash, pashut etc)
For example, nebach.
"Oy, nebach for the family" - I guess you'd translate as shame.
"She's a real nebach" - she's a real.....shame?
What's the English word for shlemazzel?
Or chashuv. You'd say important, but not really. Because you'd say "It's important to put on sunscreen when it's hot" but you wouldn't say it's chashuv to. You'd say, "it's really important that you're home on time to watch the kids so I can leave on time" but again, you can't use chashuv there.....

but, you would use the word pleasure. Therefore, nachas does not translate adequately to pleasure

it has a negative connotation.
from google- to give reluctantly or resentfully.
fargin is the opposite

Not really . We say ‘she can’t Fargin’. But you don’t say ‘she begrudges me’ The sentiment is similar but the words don’t quite translate
