I used to be very active on imamother… YEARS ago… when there was a chat room and meetups. I never went to one, being in Lakewood- but I remember them. Certain SN are also part of the older imamother… this is going back close to 15 years ago- maybe more if I remember correctly.
Took a very long break and now it’s interesting to see how the dynamics have changed!

People can still see old posts in old threads. I'd want to make sure everything I've shared I'm comfortable sharing under my real name. It would be impossible though, with quoting posts you can't ever truly get rid of everything.

No way if you want to see what other people look and sound like you have to reveal yourself too! If we would do it this way I can just imagine coming on screen and everyone except me has their cameras off... like some bad dream of showing up to school in your pajamas!

I think if anyone is serious about arranging it, the first step is to start a new thread on a forum that has anonymous posting disabled… then gauge interest and make sure only recognized posters join. It makes no sense for someone who’s been posting as amother all this time to join. That’s just my opinion.
