Hi
Training my son
Not my first son so I’m not new to this..
Forgive m for such unappetizing details here...When he’s peeing ,he can’t aim .
Not his fault
Interesting how’s it ALWAYS goes straight
I noticed it when he was a baby
Never thought it might effect him when older
Meaning it always goes on toilet lid cuz of it & the cleanup is a disaster
What’s the cause of it?
I literally have to hold him nebach upside down (cuz goes in straight direction in order for it to aim in the bowl
A/o ever had this?
Don’t want to teach him to hold it downwards as his hands will smell & b full of germs

I'm sorry, I should disclaim, I have absolutely no experience...but why not just teach him this and to wash his hands properly with soap and water?

Of reasons to wash your hands after using the bathroom, touching a p3nis wouldn't even be at the top of my list. I agree with singleagain.

All my boys needed to hold it down for a while until they figure out how to position themselves better. The Morah’s definitely tell them to as well.

My kids the same. Or they make on potty that has the thing in the front or until they get taller and they can pee standing up and aim correctly.

I’m not sure what it is and if your child has it… my boys had a hard time aiming at the beginning. As they got older it was no longer an issue.
Maby ask pediatrician about the aim and see if she mentions a urologist.
I wouldn’t go to a urologist if pediatrician doesn’t recommend.

Meatal stenosis is when opening hole is small which can cause stream to go up instead of down. Outpatient procedure to enlarge hole commonly done, there are discussions about it on this site
