Definitely leave a shower (at least) there. You sound like you need it. Maybe design it with built in storage for shampoo etc.

Definitely leave the full bath. I would remodel it to a sleek small shower. A full bath adds value to your home if you plan to sell later. If not, when your kids get older they will fight over who gets to use the shower like all teenagers and youll be happy you kept it.

When your kids marry and have kids of their own, it will be really helpful to have that bath on the first floor. It will happen sooner than you think!
