Looking for fun, Chanuka related dinner ideas. Not for hosting parties, just for my kids.
example, I usually do a Greek supper - greek chicken, greek salad without the feta, etc.
just want regular supper to be special. My kids are pretty picky so nothing outlandish
ideas?

Latke chicken nuggets. Patchke but very much enjoyed.
Shred potatoes in food processor on stringy blade.
Dip chicken nuggets (either cut yourself or buy pre-cut) into flour, egg, and then shredded potatoes.
Fry.
Serve with multiple dipping sauces.
Yum!

Slice potatoes & use a dreidel cookie cutter to cut dreidel shape out of the potato, then roast as usual (toss with oil, salt & spices & bake 4:25 until done)

What I like to do is spread out the Chanukah foods alongside supper. So only 1 (max 2!) special foods a night. Some double as supper, some serve as a side and some are dessert.
Spreads the joy and makes my work so much easier!!! Only time I would do lots of Chanukah foods would be if I’m officially hosting a party.
Pick one every night:
Mozzarella sticks
Pizza
Lasagna
Latkes
Jelly donuts
Chocolate donuts
Cheesecake
Roast
Blintzes
Cheese latkes
Baked ziti
Feta salad
Eggplant Parmesan
Egg rolls (fried)
Possibilities are endless… good luck!

Roll Hotdogs in tortilla wraps. Cut into circles. Place 3 circles on a wooden stick/skewer (looks like a traffic light) and fry both sides. Yum

We are out for 4 nights, so there is not much left.
I'm making latkes today bec the bigger parties don't usually have that.
I'm making a nice beef dinner bec that's what dh appreciates.
The next dinner night we are home is Tuesday. I bought a London broil to make pulled beef in the crock pot (dinner done recipe). I'll probably serve it with buns and not tacos. I'll decide if we need chicken as well, but it'll be a basic. Make we will buy donuts that night, depending on how many we already had.
Thursday, we are home again, but I can't think so far. Maybe we'll do cheese latkas and pizza.

As you can see, we don't have parties, so I try to make it festive for us.

You can roll out pizza dough and use chanukah cookie cutters. Top with sauce and cheese for menorah and dreidal pizzas. I did this for before Rosh Hashana with shofars and apples
