I've been looking for years for a recipe that will be exactly like those pillowy on the inside, crunchy with cinnamon sugar on the outside cinnamon fingers you buy in the bakery. The ones that come connected and you pull them apart. I've tried a bazillion recipes, including the one in the purple Spice and Spirit, which comes out a bit heavy and dense. Nothing I've tried tastes or feels quite like the bakery ones.
Does anyone have a good recipe for those?
