Referring to the between carpools baked shnitzel recipe. Will it still come out the same good or sesame seeds is a vital component?

My kids won't eat it with sesame, even though I personally prefer it, so I never make it with sesame seeds. I add a bit more breadcrumbs to make up the difference, and also usually add some of my own spices for more flavor. It still comes out delicious and I never have leftovers!
