just check in with her every few days. If she is doing injections (I'm not up to date on protocols) - maybe a cute icepack.

A lunch or supper? I couldn't cook those weeks. I hovered between nauseous and starving. My poor husband in addition to watching me go crazy, had no food to eat....

Not everyone would appreciate being checked in every few days, that could feel intrusive

If you are a close enough friend to know about the IVF - you are close enough to check-in.

(alternatively - if you are just hearing through the grapevine /gossip about the IVF, do nothing.)

Not necessarily. I told my coworkers and those directly impacted some details so they would understand me taking off work and cover my shifts but I wasn’t at all comfortable with being asked questions .

They also would never think to send you to the spa. IE not your friends.

(I’ve gone through three rounds)

Check in meaning - how are you doing/ what’s up - not- hey how are your medical procedures going or what are the docs saying.
