I made them for shabbos. The leaves weren't cooked and I let it cook for an hour and half. THe rice tasted good besides the burnt taste. Confused After fifteen minutes of cooking it started to burn no matter how much water I added. What went wrong?

what kind of pot did u use? my mom always used teflon. did u cook it on a high or low flame?
