Recently we have been having a stray cat issue…trying to figure out how best to deal with it. We have had a lot of poop left on our car, our lawn, etc. We even had a couple disemboweled mice left on our porch. How do we get rid of this?? We don’t feed them, it just got significantly worse over the summer.

Anything specific that you know works? And will it wash away with rain?

That sounds very unusual for cats. They normally dig holes and bury whatever they do, not leave it lying around. Are you sure it isn't some other animal?
The mice sounds more in line with normal feline behaviour.

Agree with this. Cats almost always cover up their excrement (it’s an instinct for them). IDK about raccoons, skunks, bunnies, groundhogs or deer though (all of which are common where I live).
The leaving disemboweled mice as “presents” is also normal cat behavior.

So I know cats generally bury their excrement…but they is it possible it’s still them?
We have had raccoon droppings before and they look very different. No deer or chipmunks in the area. Squirrels we have, but I feel like quantity wise this wouldn’t make sense.

Shake black pepper all over the lawn, you may have to do it again if it rains within a day or two of putting it down but once the cats realize there is pepper they will stay far away.
Tried and tested.

I was gonna say something along the lines of put down some sort of cat poison...
Let us know if this works! I'm so curious!

Please DON’T put out cat poison. It is unnecessarily cruel.
