Hi. DH bought a really large French roast. We definitely don't need such a big one. Can I cut off some pieces and use it as my cholent meat?

My mother has done that and most of us didn’t like it (not that it was bad. It just wasn’t good either.) Everyone has different tastes though, so who knows.
Maybe cut off however much you aren’t using and save it for a smaller supper?

That's a good idea. I'll use it for tacos one night. Thanks so much!
