I bought a pickled chicken roast, vacuum sealed, in a net. I believe it's spiced with pastrami type spices. How do I cook it and is there a sauce I should serve it with?
TIA!

Usually the packaging has instructions .
I think you are supposed to keep it in the vacuum sealed bag . Bring a pot of water to a boil , add the roll in the plastic and boil for an hour and a half .
I bake non pickled chicken roasts in the oven and make a sauce or stuff it with pastrami and pour a sauce over it . But pickled is different . I like it better served warm or at room temperature , not hot.

I take it out of the bag, put in a pot covered with water & bring to a boil. Once it's boiling, I spill the water, refill the pot & cook for 3 hours. Slice when cold & serve with mushroom sauce.

Remove from the bag. In the oven on 325 for 3 and half hours, tightly sealed.
