My baby didn't figure it out in a week or two either. The doctor said it can be a few weeks or months. My baby is 5 months now, no more screaming or crying anymore, just some grunting which is also improving.
Dr said it is important NOT to use products to stimulate them to poop (like the windy), because then they don't learn to coordinate it themselves and it just takes longer to get better. Kind of just need to wait it out.
