5 year old son-he's been trained since 2.5 but not at night. We switched him to pull ups a couple months ago and he wakes up soaking (diapers are more absorbent of course) and I need to change his sheets every day..Anyone have suggestions? Pediatrician said no need to push nighttime training yet, but maybe suggestions of a brand of pull ups that will work better? He won't do diapers..

Good nights brand is very absorbant.
I'm a fan of night training will come naturally when the kid is ready

Perhaps wake him before you go to bed and get him to make then put him back to sleep. Also make sure you reduce water close to bed time.

Thank you! I agree and I’m not so concerned yet!

I'm in the same situation with my just turned 5 year old. I asked the pediatrician at our checkup and she wasn't concerned but said we can start with small things, like limiting liquids at night and waking up to pee right before I go to bed... Then see if child is staying dry overnight.
