it's better to defrost at least a little bit.
Place salmon in a plastic bag in cool water, it will help thaw it quicker.

Yes. I follow the instructions I found online somewhere. I cook from frozen in the oven at 450F for 8 minutes and then add the sauce/seasonings (these stick better when it's less frozen). And then back in the oven for 12 or 13 minutes and test for doneness. I don't like overcooked salmon, so I'm careful.

You can, I've done it, texture does get mildly affected so best to thaw as much as you can first
