Okay...gotta try this. For those that swapped the coffee with tea, were you happy with the results?

How does this cake compare with the other moist honey cake recipe that's been trending here?

Took it out and didn't wait for it to cool. BH it came out of the pan nicely, just a few little cracks that icing should cover.

am I the only one that found the texture of the cake to be "grainy"? soft, moist, but grainy.
I'm happy so many ppl liked it...maybe it's just my cake.

My second cake did not come out if the bundt pan in one piece. I think I baked it an extra few minutes. If I have time today I am going to make muffins.

How long to bake these in loaf pans, or 8x8 size?

I have made loaves, and I honestly don't remember. I probably start checking with a toothpick around 30 min...but it might take longer.

I just made 24 cupcakes/muffins (validated they did take 25 min) AND 1 loaf (in a 2lb loaf pan...slightly smaller than pan)--took about 30-35 min.

I'm referring to Best honey cake by AZmom109-I'm sure they're both really good, I'm just wondering how they're different, has anyone made both?

I'm going to try this in a bundt. What kind of icing works well with this cake?
