Several days ago somebody posted a yummy apple pie recipe, with a crust on the bottom and crumbs on top. I can't find it on the forum. Can anybody please lead me to it? (you can lead a horse to water.... )

Yes, JewishPrincess! Thank you so much! Where was it hiding and who is the 'author' of this recipe, or should I say 'chef' of this recipe?
Thanks!

I dont know how it freezes but I just made it and froze it raw. when needed, I will uncover it and put it from the freezer straight ino the oven to prevent it from being soggy. I hope it works.

Huh. Mine made crumbs no problem. I did make it in the food processor though.

I made it, but thought that the potato starch was too strong/too much. I think I will make it again for second days and substitute some of that starch for ground and chopped walnuts in the crust. Otherwise, the apple mixture was yum, even though I skipped the cinnamon and vanilla sugar.

Why no cinammon ? (and how do you make Charoset ? )
And I make it and it comes out great. though I cut out lots of the sugar, and add some ground nuts to the topping. I also put it all on top - not under the apples.
