Does anyone know at what age you can take a baby off formula? My baby eats very well during the day. He is 9 months now, is the food he gets during the day enough, or does he still need a bottle in the morning and at night?

The formula is fortified with certain nutrients for their growth and development. I wouldn't stop it before 1 year then check with your ped. if you can give whole milk or if he needs a formula for toddlers. It is great that he eats so many foods!

your son still needs to drink! does he drink anything else?
Usually they say wait until 1 year to start whole milk...so until then, I think you should give him formula. Yes, the nutrients in there are important.
Check with his pediatritian.

My dr told me that you cann stop at a year and in the begining my baby hated the milk and I would mix it with formula but after a while he got used to it. A baby needs formula until a year for brain development
