I have a loubia recipe I’m just wondering how to eat it.. like is it considered as a soup or as a side with what?

I just googled. It looks like it's served in individual bowls. It could be a meal; one picture has pita chips on the table. You could have shredded cheese, or make it with chunks of meat (I'm thinking....) Or serves as soup.

Bump this thread hope that some serfardi amothers can help me I can find in the Moroccan stores only normal dried white beans and not canellini beans as Danielle Renov says you should do in her book. Can I use just white beans?

As Syrians, We eat it with white rice.

By morrocan it's eaten with couscous.
It's a full meal. There's usually a nice amount of meat inside.
You can use almost any white beans,
Soak them well before.
