I'm in the mood for Morrocan salmon.
Can it be done in the oven? I don't have a fire to cook it now.

Yes but you need to make the sauce on the stove top and then pour over fish and bake

Sauté lots of sliced garlic cloves in olive oil, add chick peas, olives, cherry tomatoes, sliced roasted peeled peppers (from a jar or broil the pepper cheeks and then peel skin off) Salt, pepper, turmeric, paprika, lots of fresh cilantro/parsley. Let a drop of saffron sit in hot water for a few minutes and then add that in.
Rub salmon with olive oil, salt, pepper, turmeric, paprika. Put salmon into baking dish. Pour sauce on top. Squeeze a lemon over the top and add more parsley. Bake @ 400 until salmon flakes about 18-20 min.

my recipe is basically the same except we dont use olives or tomatoes
we slice carrots and potatoes and at the end

What's the sauce part, the sautéed veggies or is there liquid included that you call it a sauce?

The sautéed veggies. When the tomatoes burst it gets kind of saucy. If you feel it’s too dry then add a little water.
