My 13 year old son in 7th grade has an assignment for his English class. He has to teach his classmates how to create/do/make something. I.e. challah braiding, origami, etc. The presentation has to be around 5 minutes and he needs to provide supplies for all the boys to do it. He was interested in Diamond Dotz but it seems if we buy a big pack of minis, they don't come with enough pens for everyone. He is a great kid but doesn't have any real talents or interests aside from computers. I am looking for a low cost idea of what he can present and teach to his class.

For diamond art you can buy a pack of pens in bulk for cheap. The mini stickers are a cute idea. Problem is beads are also mixed up so it would be hard to split it.

Some of my siblings had this assignment.
One taught the class how to problem solve by passing out sheets with questions like
What is the problem?
What are the pros?
The cons?
What do you want?
What does everyone else want?
Etc.
Another made up her own language and taught it to the class.
Another did lanyards.

Please keep the ideas coming. Son does not have good communication skills and is also not very good with his hands or creative.

We found one! A conflict resolution role play. if anyone has ever seen it, it's a role play where 2 scientists, Dr. Harper and Dr. Smith are competing for an item-a veginot.
Thank you for all the ideas.
