My step-father, who was totally healthy, was in severe pain on sunday night and had to go to the emergency room.
After a lot of tests, they found out that he has a severe bowel problem that they are doing surgery for right now.

thank you. I came up with it...I think...I googled it to make sure it wasn't hiding in the recesses of my mind because I read it somewhere else...

He hasn't actually had the surgery yet since they needed to do more testing. I'll keep you posted.
