I want to go buy (today) I know late notice, the least cheesy shabbos cd for ds. He loves music, but I can't stomach the really cheesy stuff. Any ideas?

Get "yanky and shabbos"
I listened to that in the '80s and loved it...the sound quality is probably not too good since it's dated stuff but it definitely rules out the cheesy factor.

ds loves "baruch learns about shabbos" (and "baruch learns brachos") shmuel kunda is really good.
