Say for a 2 yr old with little artistic ability, and who cant understand so much... like you cant get into the details of why we are celebrating what we are. How do you make it exciting and special?

Whatever I do or prepare the week of yom tov, I always make sure to remind the kids that I'm doing xyz Lekovid Yom Tov. If I'm cleaning up, it's lekovid yom tov. They also have to see me be excited about it. Like this they catch the excitement bug too!!

Make up songs about the chagim. Art projects don't have to be about ability, they can scribble on a cut out of a sukkah, they can glue pieces of tissue paper onto a big dreidel...
