It's a while since I've posted anything on imamother.com and last time I posted I was a newbie, so in a sense I still am. Especially to this particular forum. Hope someone can help ASAP.
I was desparately searching the web for a diagram for how to shape a bird challoh, but apparently, no such animal exists (please excuse the pun). I make round, ladder, and bird Challohs every year for the chagim and my kids expect it, but they always laugh at the bird because it usually looks a lot like a turtle.
I made round ones yesterday, and the batch that is now rising I can turn into ladders, but I still have time to get my question answered before tomorrow's batch of dough 
Can someone please advise?
How does one shape the elusive bird challoh????

'Cause playdough STAYS. It's darn hard to get challah to hold a shape.
